Mixture
• two or more materials are
combined, a mixture is
formed.
Mixture
Homogeneous Mixture
- uniform in structure or composition
homo- means “same”
dye + water = homogeneous
iodized salt + vetsin= homogeneous
Heterogeneous Mixture
• it consist of distinct substances and
don’t have a uniform composition
hetero - means “different”
different fruits (salad) = heterogeneous
different ingredients (pizza) = heterogeneous
