 Description:

• Description: Lifting contact operation is

essential for the magnet to be turned on. If
there is any problem with the lifting contactor,
the magnet will not works.
 Parts of lifting contactor:

• *DC Contactor Operating Coil .

•*DC Contactor Fixed & Moving Contact
•*DC Contactor Blow Out Coil
•*DC Contactor Arc Chute .
•*DC Contactor Auxiliary Contact Block
•*Spring for back force.
Lift Contractor
 DC Contactor Operating Coil

• DC Contactor Operating Coil :If the lifting

contactor is to be turned on, the
operation of the Dc contactor coil will be
active first.
 DC Contactor Fixed & Moving Contact

• DC Contactor Fixed & Moving Contact : When the DC

contactor operating coil activated the power will flow
fixed contact to moving contact. During this time
fixed contact & moving contact is closed.
 DC Contactor Blow Out Coil

• DC Contactor Blow Out Coil :When

power flows with fixed contactor &
moving contactor, Simultaneously the
power flows through blow out coil.
 DC Contactor Arc Chute
• DC Contactor Arc Chute :There is a spark here
when the fixed contact & moving contact are
open –closed. Dc contactor arc chute used for
spark point reduce quickly.
 DC Contactor Auxiliary Contact Block

• DC Contactor Auxiliary Contact Block: It is an

interlock device. Auxiliary block operate
means Dc contactor operating coil active.
Than the control power supply flows through
this auxiliary block.
 Spring for back force

• Spring for back force: When the

operating coil power is discharged. The
spring is used to quickly open the fixed &
moving contact.

 Single phase preventer
• 3 phase power supply ok . SPP active. When
power supply abnormal than SPP deactivated.
• # This time BCC contactor activated.
Battery control contractor:
 Battery control contractor:

• When system voltage low/high, Amps

high/low or any others abnormal condition
present than BCC contactor activate. BCC
contactor activated means battery backup
start.
