BACKGROUND
Doll House a Netflix Movie, stars Baron Geisler as Rustin and Althea
Ruedas as Yumi and Izah Hankammer as teenage Yumi. Rustin, a
problematic, troubled, drug-addict lead singer of a rock band. After a
sudden death of his friend also a band member. He (Rustin) embarks
on a journey going back to Germany to where he used to live in the
past. To finish hia unfinished business, to revive his father-
relationship with his long-lost daughter Yumi ages around 6 or 7.

Everything about Her, stars Vilma Santos-Recto as Vivian Zapanta a

successful real estate CEO whose life was changed after she was
diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. She (Vivian) then hires a private
nurse, Jaica (Angel Locsin) who would not only assist her in her
painful sufferings but would eventually serve as the bridge between
her as a strong-willed businesswoman to reconnect with her
estranged son Albert (Xian Lim) who felt neglected by His mother all
his life.

THESIS STATEMENT:
Family is so sacred that we should put it on our highest priority over pleasure, career
or profession. Standing up to your priorities, responsibilities and obligations are the
solid foundations of a healthy robust family living.

LIST OF ISSUE:
A- Due to his addiction, Rustin's marriage comes to an end. He left and
abandoned his wife Sheena and the baby named Yomi.
B- Rustin decided to meet his daughter for the first time and without
revealing his true identity, they bonded so quickly as the saying goes
"leap of blood" that people address them as Father-daughter.
C - Rustin realized the importance of standing up to his priorities,
responsibilities and obligations. Ready to correct his past mistakes,
change his ways and ready to ask for second chances to start a new.
 EVIDENCES:

THESIS STATEMENT:
Success without life’s purpose is an ultimate failure.
Success in career cannot be compared to success in
relationships.
LIST OF ISSUE:
A. Despite being successful, Vivian suffers not only from stage 3
cancer but even more painful than cancer she suffers from her
estranged son Albert who showed no affection to her.
B- She seems to have it all, money, fame and power but when she
finds out, she is terminally ill, she suddenly chased her relationship
with her son as if nothing matters to her but Albert. That's were she
met Jaica which is very similar to her character, a strong-willed
caregiver who's bound to be a bridge for her losing relationship with
her son.
C- The movie not only provides heavy drama and heart- warming
story but lessons on love, acceptance, forgiveness and humility that
must be around family life.
CLAIM :
Unending crying is not enough to justify your actions in the past. Earning
someone's trust is not an overnight process.
CONCLUSION:
In the middle of any world's pleasure, money,
fame and power, family is everything. Without
a family to whom we would offer our
successes in life. If you have the love, support
and encouragement of a family then you have
everything.
