Danny Wallace had stopped going out or doing interesting
things. One day he met a stranger on a bus, who
suggested that he should say ‘yes’more often. Danny
started saying ‘yes’ to people, and as a result more
interesting things started to happen to him . He travelled,
changed his job and met his wife. His advice to others is
now simply to say ‘yes’ more often
He used to send them emails, text or phone.
He realised that he hadn’t done anything interesting
in the last year.
He describe them as pessimistic.
The stranger made Danny realise that he needed to
make a change in his life, so he decided to try saying
yes more.
He bought a newspaper because he needed change to
give a beggar a pound.
No, he wasn’t in control because things happened to
him by chance.
