Interview with the main

character
Szilagyi Iulia Maria
R= reporter , C= character

R: It’s really nice to have you here today! I was hoping that, after everything
you’ve been through, you would like to answer some questions to let other
people know about your experience and learn from your mistakes!

C: I’m happy to be here, thank you for inviting me! Let’s start!

R: We all know that at the beginning of the book you weren’t in the best situation.
How did you get there?

C: Everything started with my parents’ divorce, which really had a big impact on
me .I was also alone, with no financial resources, which led to stealing .I am not
proud of what I’ve done, but I am proud of myself for improving!
R= reporter , C= character

R: I am glad you overcame your obstacles! Moving on to the next question, what
was your relationship with books before you met Anibalector?

C: To be honest, my relationship with books had never been great before that. I
used to think reading was a pointless waste of time, even though I hadn’t even
tried it, but it didn’t take me a lot of time to realize that I was completely wrong!

R: That’s great! What was your first opinion about Anibalector?

R= reporter , C= character

C: Well, of course, I was scared at first! The thought of a monster terrified me, his
cave was also scary, what other opinion could I have had? When I first got there,
Anibalector made me read loads of books everyday, which I wasn’t familiar with.
We would discuss the lectures every night, and it didn’t take me long to figure out
that he wasn’t that bad at all! He was actually a really pleasant company.

R: We’ve already discussed your previous relationship with books. So, tell me,
what do you think about them now?
R= reporter , C= character

C: As you may know, I am a writer. I love writing ,I love reading, and I love seeing that
my books make people happy! I think that every reader has had hundreds of lives, one
for every book they ever read. Books helps us grow, they help us learn, but sometimes
they help us escape reality exactly when we need it.

R: If you could go back in time and change anything, what would that be?

C: This is a really complicated question, but I think I would go back to Anibalector’s

cave and warn him, let him know that he is in danger. I owe that to him.

R: That’s nice! I think you are an amazing example of self-growth and development.
What do you think it takes for someone to change?
R= reporter , C= character
C: I think that, in order to change, you need to be motivated to do it for yourself, and not
for the ones around you. You need to believe that if you work hard enough, any dream
can come true!

R: I agree with you! Moving on to the final question, what important things have you
learnt from this whole experience?

C: The most important lesson I’ve learnt is not to ,,judge a book by its cover’’. I also think
that I am more aware of the fact that there’s always room for personal development
now, and I think that people need to be more optimistic.

R: That’s an amazing answer! I was really impressed by your story, thank you for being
here today.

C: Thank you for having me,I’ll see you next time!
