AICTE SCHOLARSHIPS

• The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is an apex national-level advisory body
for imparting technical education in India. It not only provides accreditation to colleges and
institutions involved in technical education but also offers a number of scholarships and
fellowships to students who are willing to pursue a technical degree course. An AICTE
scholarship helps both meritorious and deserving students to pursue higher education without
any financial constraints.

Rs 50000 as incidentals each year.
 3 SAKSHAM • Scholarship/Contingency is awarded to Differently abled students taking admission in
SCHOLARSHIP AICTE approved Technical institution at Degree/ Diploma. Scholarship given @ Rs 50000
as incidentals each year.
4 PRIME • Objective of the Scheme is to build up capacities in youth of J&K, educate, enable and
MINISTER’S empowering them to compete in normal course, enhancing and boosting employment
SPECIAL potentials in students of J&K. Total 5000 scholarship are given @ Rs. 100000/- as

• AMET University is offering various Scholarships to the Students from


economically backward family who are not affordable to pay the fees. The office
of the scholarship is received the application through the department is to be
reviewed case by case, this application are placed before the committee for
approval and sanction the eligible amount.

COMMON ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA, TERMS
AND CONDITION

• The applicant should be an Indian national.


• Candidates should maintain good academic records.
• Candidate should maintain good discipline.
• Candidate who has passed Class 12 with eligible marks based on the scholarships scheme.
• Application should be received before the last dates.
• General terms and condition is applicable as per the cancellation policy of AMET.

1  Ex-Servicemen • The Applicant Father or Mother should serve in the Indian Navy/Army/Air Force
Scholarship at least for the tenure not less than Five years.
• 15% of the tuition fee is waived at first year; continuation of scheme depends on
the academic performance from last year.
 2 First Graduate • No other family members should be a graduate
Scholarship • No brother or sister (Siblings) availed the first graduate scholarship or fee
concession
• The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 19 years
• Candidate who has passed Class 12 with at least 60% marks in PCM/overall
marks.
• 15% for Student tuition fee is waived for the first year alone.

 3 Meritorious • Candidate who have passed Class 12 with at least 90% marks in PCM/overall
Scholarship marks are eligible to avail this scheme.
• 15% tuition fee waived for the first year, sustaining within top 10 ranks will
continue to yield benefit till the completion of course.

New Era Association of Educated Self Employed Youth (NAESEY) is an


organization that promotes self-employment opportunities among educated
unemployed youth of the society with a dream to see a completely employed
world. NAESEY provides scholarship schemes for AMET students pursuing
BE/B.Tech./B.Sc./BBA/B.Com./MBA on full-time basis.
