• Pandit Shri Ram Sharma a saint, sage, philosopher, freedom


fighter,Writer.
• Founder of All World Gayatri Pariwar and creator of thought
transformation movement
• Wrote more than 3400 books, Siddha Gayatri Sadhak,
• Born on 20th September,1911 in Anwalkheda,Agra.
ABOUT THE BOOK:

• Autobiography of Vedmoorti,Taponishtha Pt. Shree Ram Sharma Aacharya.


• Written at the moment when author has completed 78 years of his life in 1989.
• Gurudev of Millions of followers and disciples.
• On their request he wrote this book putting light on his own Jeevan sadhana or life
practice.
• This book is immensely important for those who want to get true insights about
spirituality and Rishi tradition.

PHILOSOPHY OF HIS LIFESTYLE:

At the age of 10 years, his mind dominated by the thoughts of sadhana se siddhi
At age of 15 he got divine grace of his guru and an opportunity to devot life to his astral
guru.
Meet with his astral guru is his spiritual rebirth.
Acceptance of lifestyle of saint Sages Brahmin Rishi enjoined over by his Guru.
EARLY CHILDHOOD:

• Childhood name Shree Ram


• Deep interest in sadhana and spiritual topics
• Elementary education in village primary level school
• Father Shree RoopKishore Sharma taught Sanskrit based on ‘Laghukaumudi Siddhant’
• Learnt whole Bhagwad Stories from his father.
• At the age of 10 thread ceremony under guidance of Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviye.
• Since then regularly and religiously morning and evening prayers
• At age of 15, Himalayavasi Guru appeared before him in astral form in worship room.
DISCIPLINED LIFE BASED ON GUIDANCE OF
GURUDEV:
• Astral Body of his Gurudev emerged in middle of aura of light talked about his purpose
of visit.
• In states of Yognidra vision about his previous births and indicated how he had been
with him and helping throughout .
• Cleared all his doubts rising in mind.
• A feeling of deep intimacy, affinity and gratefulness awakened for the Devatama and
appeared as soul of his own soul.
• This momentous day of Basant Parva became day of adoption of Gurudev’s discipline
and beginning of a new way of life.
• In first meeting act of devotion completed and two things were enjoined:
-Turn deaf to worldly peoples
- Perform devoted austerities.
• Guidelines by Gurudev
-Twenty four Gayatri Mahapurascarans
- Lighting Ghrit lamp uninterruptedly
-Writing books for promoting the enlightened good of the masses
-Role of voluntary freedom fighter in India’s freedom struggle.
EXECUTION AS A TRUE DISCIPLE:

• Started series of purascaranasand taking prescribed food barley bread and chaach only.
• Heared inner voice and enrolled in the corps of satyagrahis in Gandhiji’s Satyagrah movement.
• For the sake of humanity, he nursed Chhapko Amma, an untouchable going against
untouchability prevailed in society at that time.
• Together with Mataji constantly looked after the Ghrit lamp lighting uninterruptedly.
• Sixty-six rosaries jap daily, symbolic worship of picture of Gayatri Mata and meditation of rising
sun Savita at end offering libation to the sun adopted daily routine.
• Despite participation in Congress Movement, he didn’t have to spare apart separate time for
study.
• Managed two hours daily reading at the rate of 80 pages per day, 2400 pages/ month.
• Didn’t read even a single page for recreation, read with a view to acquiring
proficiency in the subject.
• On His Gurudev’s call actively participated for ten years in freedom struggle. Went
to jail several times but never interrupted his ascetic disciplines
• Sublimation of his own thoughts, attitude and behavior through:
-Upasana: With a mindset to do the will of God and become his follower,
Molding his character as worthy son of Divine mother Gayatri and
, Savita, the Divine Father
• -Sadhana: Cultivation of competence or worthiness also called jivan sadhana.
Leading a pious and devoted life.
Organized thoughts, character, diet and attempts to refine it
Pledged to lead a simple life of an average Indian.
Brahman like politeness and simplicity was maintained throughout personal
and family life.
Constant watch on his attitudes, actions and nature ensuring righteousness of
Sadhak incorporated in them.
ARADHANA:

• In social behaviour aradhana permeated.


• On daily basis spent ten hours for aradhana in following activities:
writing and publication of magazines ,literatures ,etc. for refinement of the minds and
and attitudes of the people
• -To inspire and provide guidance to truly aspiring souls to adopt a new way of life.
• -To give advice to those who have turned to him for guidance and counseling.
HIMALAYA VISITS:

• First Himalayan Visit:


Call of his gurudev to ascertain new disciplines and introduce with Himalayan Rishi
Satta.
• Second Himalayan Visit::
Projection of the field of work
• Third Himalayan Visit:
Sowing of the seeds for sublimation of attitude and thoughts, Risi tradition.
• Fourth and final visit:
Instructions for sukshmikaran sadhana
