Definition of internet :
The Internet (or internet) is the global system

the Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to
communicate between networks and devices. It
is a network of networks that consists of
private, public, academic, business, and
government networks of local to global scope,
linked by a broad array of electronic, wireless,
and optical networking technologies.

Definition of Intranet
Intranet is private computer network that uses
internet protocol technology to secure and
share any part of an organisation information or

organisation. It is in contrast to internet, a
network between organisations, instead it
refers to a network within an
organisation ,mostly to the internet website at
the organisation.

that are within a particular computer network.
2. Intranet is part of the Internet but not the
other way around.
3. The Internet can be accessed by anyone, but
Intranet can be accessed only by an school
member or a corporate student. As for getting
into the Intranet it must first log on.
