Classroom

For this project, I wanted to see what types of apps are being
used in the classrooms and which the students prefer. I have
Survey Reasoning
learned about many new apps and online tools through this
program and would love to use the ones my students would
enjoy the most. I asked a variety of questions to determine how
often they used technology and which programs they enjoyed
the most. I surveyed students in grades first through fifth.

This survey was very helpful in gathering data about what types of interactive apps or
websites students enjoy using in the classroom. I found it interesting that the majority of
students said they only used interactive apps or websites 1 to 4 times a week. Overall, the
students who participated agreed that they enjoy using the interactive games in the classroom.
They are used most often for math and reading. They are used less frequently for science and
social studies. Only two students said their teacher used an interactive app or website during
writing. Eighty percent of the students said they enjoy using the interactive apps or websites
Summary while only 1 did not. Students selected Blooket as the most enjoyable interactive app or
website to use. I can use the findings of this survey to help me determine which apps and
websites would be best used in my classroom in the future. I can also determine which apps
and websites would not be a good use for the classroom. I am prepared to use this information
to plan for the coming school year.
