Em yêu kiều và quá đỗi dịu êm
Gió tháng 5 chao đảo chạm lên chồi biếc
Mùa hạ tình ngắn ngủi chẳng còn lâu

Lại có lúc bị che mờ bởi tầng mây.

“And every fair from fair sometime
declines,” Everything that is fair (a
beautiful women) at some point declines
from being fair...That means everything
which is fair eventually becomes less fair.
Like the most obvious way, every beauty
has its limited time.
“Nor shall death brag thou wander'st in his
shade ”, I like this line most because it helps
me picturing a specific image, very evocative
and emotional at the same time. Everyone has
to die. Everyone will be in Death’s shadow
because he’s coming to get everyone with his
power. But here, death can’t brag to have
something so beautiful in his shade because
Shakespeare is immortalizing her.
