History of the Institute

Kyrgyz Scientific-Research and Design Institute of

Construction ("KyrgyzNIIPstroitelstva") was founded in
1981 on basis of the laboratories:

Kucherenko Central Research Institute of Building
Structures and Materials

Moscow Research Institute of Reinforce-Concrete

Tashkent Research Institute on Experimental
Designing in the field of Building Materials.
Current Activities of the Institute

 Development of new technology for production of basalt

fibers and goods

 Development of new building materials and constructions

with the use of local materials

 Researches on development of new technology for

manufacturing of concrete with application of new building
materials: basalt fibers, vollastonit

Development of light concrete with reduced denseness and
high heating engineering properties, etc.
Ecologically clean technology for
basalt fiber production
Advantages of the technology

The technology is based on the one-component non-deficit

raw material, i.e. basalt crushed stone for the production of
fiber without burden (furnace)
The technological process provides non-waste production
and also waste heat utilization
Forming of the stream of melt without utilization of
precious metals of platinum group
