QUIZ BEE
GENERAL MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES

• "THE CLASH OF JPlAns" will be conducted in a full face-to-face setting. The

FIRST BATCH will be General Information, Science, and English; SECOND
BATCH will be Accounting Quiz Bee for all year levels; THIRD BATCH will be
Mathematics and Filipino; lastly, FOURTH BATCH will be Jologs.
• The participants should be in their respective classrooms fifteen (15) minutes before
the start of the set of contests.
• The participants are required to utilize chalk and 1/8 size of
illustration board. Note that Basic Calculator is ONLY ALLOWED
for Accounting Quiz Bee.
• Late comers will still be ALLOWED to join the competition.
However, missed question/s will not be repeated in consideration
to the punctual participants. Meaning to say, all late comers
shall automatically receive a zero point for question/s already
read and answered. They are only entitled to answer the
GENERAL MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES

• Before conducting the Quiz Bee, the participants will take a mock quiz.
However, NO POINTS will be given to the participants whether they got the
correct answers. This is solely for the purpose of checking their connectivity and
to be acquainted
with the event proper.
• The Quiz Bee will have fifteen (15) multiple choice questions and 5
identification questions. The first ten (10) questions will be for the easy round
with ten (10) seconds each to answer. The next five (5) questions will be for the
average round with fifteen (15) seconds each to answer. The last five (5)
questions will be for the difficult round with thirty (30) seconds each to answer.
Except for Accounting Quiz Bee and Mathematics Quizbee, in which average
round with twenty (20) seconds each to answer and difficult round with one (1)
minute each question to answer. For Jologs Quiz Bee, there will be multiple
choice questions.
GENERAL MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES
• The points will be calculated based on the number of correct
responses submitted by each participant.
• The participants may ask for explanation after each question.
Any concerns or clarifications will be directed to the Quiz
Master. The decision of the Quiz Master is final.
• The participants are required to exercise honesty and fairness
during the Quiz Bee. Participants who are caught cheating by the
organizers will be automatically disqualified.
• If the participants have the same total scores after the three
(3) rounds, clincher question/s will be asked to break the tie. The
first one who will raise the correct answer will get the rank
which they got tied for.
• The top three (3) participants with the highest scores will be
held as the Champion, 1st runner-up, and 2nd runner-up,
respectively. Furthermore, the winners will receive their
respective certificates and special prizes in the awarding
