Necrotizing periodontal diseases (NPDs)
• The damaged tooth starts to come loose. With the potential loss
of the affected tooth, bone is exposed and often damaged.
Symptoms
• Patients will usually report excruciating pain, fetid oral odor, and rapid
onset of the condition.
