■component of extension of the total self that is created through
constant interaction with the internet.
■It is the sum of all digital trail that a person leaves as a result of
creating digital accounts,posting photos,liking and commenting in
social media, or exchanging emails using the World Wide
Web(www).

or send in the Internet?.”
ii. Limit access to your digital self - “If you really want to express yourself through your social
media accounts,at the very least you should restrict access to your digital self to a circle of your trusted
friends.
iii. Beware of unreliable sites or suspicious transactions – You should ensure that your
personal data,such as birthdays, address, social security number and parents names,are secured.
iv. Balance the engagement of your digital self – You can develop closer relationships and
become less lonely.You can use your digital self to strengthen your relationships with other people.
