A title called to a person who is a graduate of associate in Radiologic Tech. Or ART & passed the Licensure examination given by the Philippine Regulatory Commission or PRC.
X-RAY TECHNICIAN
A person who has acquired his knowledge of x-ray work through experience. (no formal training & educations)
RADIOLOGY
The science of radiant energy of the branch of medicine which deals with the use of all forms of radiant energy in the diagnosis & treatment of diseases. Radiant energy such as x-ray, gamma rays, radium & radioisotopes.

RADIOGRAPHY

RADIOGRAPHS (RADIOGRAM) Is a permanent photographic record of the structures through which a beam of ionizing radiation has passed. A permanent record of the image of the hidden parts of the body after x-ray exposure & subsequent processing.
RADIOGRAPHER A person who is skilled in the art of producing radiographs The expert in producing radiographic images.
FLUOROSCOPY
The obstruction of the images of the internal parts of the body directly on the fluoroscopic screen or on a screen coated with a fluorescent material. Examination by means of a fluoroscope.
FLUOROSCOPE
A piece of x-ray apparatus consisting of an x-ray tube properly housed & mounted so that x-rays emanating from the tube strike on a fluorescent screen.
Medical Physicist is a physicist who specializes in the application of the principles and techniques of physics in medicine.
