 Introduction
I chose the career of becoming a Montessori manager / owner because it considers as a
noble work that seeks to embrace children and help them during their development stage.

My motivation of becoming Montessori owner:

- Passionate about Children

- Like to help children

- Children represent hope

- Improve my communication skills

- Allow me to explore my creativity

- Opportunity to learn new skills

- Great job prospect

- Become more creative

 Skills and Qualifications do I need
In order to reach my goals I would like to know that abilities and skills that I
need to acquire in order to qualify me to gain my desire goals, so I did
research on what I need relative to the field.

 Responsibility

Qualifications
 Obtain a DBS
 A University Degree ( Psychology in childhood
studies)
 A College or course ( Level 3 Early Year
Education)
 GCES ( Maths and English) or equivalent
 Minimum 2 years work experience in childhood
 Skills do I have
I have used various tools to analyze my own employability in
reaching my desire career as a Montessori manager or owner,
through my studies in this term I realized that SWOT Analysis
will help me to recognize what skills do I have and what I need
to improve to reach my goals.

 Communication toward children shows

 Patience shows capacity to accept problems
 Enthusiasm when I work with children
 Discipline makes more respect to the others
 Problem solving help to identify problem and
develop a solution
 Teamwork skills give me more productivity on
the work
 Weaknesses and Strengths through SWOT Analysis
Have used SWOT analysis which I have learned in the class to analyse my
strengths and weaknesses, to be able to clarity the vision about what I need
to develop in the short and long term to reach desired goals in my career.

wellbeing and safety of the

 Logical in making decision
Weaknesses:
 Having trouble saying NO
 I feel stressed and confused when I have
something important to do
 Lack of knowledge
 Sometimes lack of confidence
 I focus too much on details
 Weakness of management
 Missing experience in some areas
 Goals without plan is just a dream
According to what a studied in the class about Personal
Development Plan (PDP) I realized that to reach my goals I need:
 Managing individuals ability to try to find other strengths
and work to bring it out so that can use it and become
more productive
 Communication by producing a link between children and
Montessori and also between staff and parents for
successful outcome.
 Conflict resolution as a Montessori Manager or owner you
need tools to deal with problems in the Montessori
 Analyse what I must need to improve and what I need to
develop
 Honest with the staff and parents to build trust by sharing
information and create atmosphere full of credibility inside
the setting
 Organisation you know how to manage the time effectively
you will find more time to the things that matter
 Responsibility its most important in childcare field to
makes you a owner and respond to the situations and
ensure that the staff understanding their role
 Conclusion:
There is no doubt that the childcare field is NOT something easy. It needs
specific employability skills to be successful, but overall what I learned
from this class, through the SWOT Analysis and Personal Development
Plan (PDP) also searching skills gave me a big push to reach my desire in
the future as a Montessori manager or Montessori business owner, and
offered opportunities to rise more employability skills that can help me in
others domain relative to my specialist in my future career.
