Preschool education in the Philippines started very late compared to the other
countries, also it was unaffordable to the point that only the rich kid can go to preschool
education, with the Private schools offering it. Somehow as the time goes by the
government recognizes the importance of rendering preschool education as one of the
important foundation of the education of the child. Different ordinances and R.A’s has been
implemented, and luckily until today all of the children enjoying the privilege of acquiring
education that is suited to each level, and the government is successful in implementing
their Education for All campaign.
