INTRODUCTION
• The hospital management system is a computerized
system that helps to manage the functioning of the
hospital. It is a software that is designed to streamline the
process of managing a hospital. The system can be used to
manage patient records, staff records, financial records,
and other hospital data.

• MySQLdb is a library that makes it easy to connect to and
work with MySQL databases from Python. If you're just

TKINTER
• Tkinter is a cross-platform GUI toolkit that lets you create
graphical User Interfaces (UIs) in Python. It's easy to learn
and can be used for a wide variety of applications, such as
small software projects, desktop applications, or even full-
fledged web applications.

• THE SYSTEM MAKES IT EXTREMELY EASY TO CREATE NEW
TABLES FOR MANAGING HOSPITALS AS WELL AS MAKE IT
SUPER EASY TO SET A DOCTORS APPOINTMENT.
• IT TAKES A SINGLE CLICK TO GET ALL DETAILS OF A
SPECIFIC HOSPITAL FOR THE PAITENT TO DECIDE ON HIS
APPOINTMENT.
• NOT ONLY IS IT EASY TO USE THE SITE BUT ALSO IS
PASSWORD PROTECTED SO THAT NONE BUT THE
ADMINISTRATORS CAN ACCESS THE DEVELOPERS PORTAL.
MARKET POTENTIAL
• The global hospital information system market size was valued
at USD 115.0 billion in 2022 and is expected to grow at a
compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 17.4% from 2023 to
2030. Hospital Information Systems (HIS) help healthcare
facilities to improve their operational outcomes and reduce the
workload on the staff, which is expected to boost industry
growth. Various initiatives undertaken by governments across
the globe and rising demand for the deployment of advanced IT
solutions in hospitals for enhanced operational efficiency are
some of the key factors that are expected to boost the adoption
of HIS. The need to curb healthcare expenditures due to
hospital workflow inefficiencies is also anticipated to boost the
adoption of these systems globally. Thus, the growing demand
for effective clinical outcomes and reduced healthcare costs are
some of the key factors that are boosting the adoption of HIS in
developed and emerging economies.
