 Who am I?
 My name is Jibreel. In my free time I enjoy football, technology and socializing with
friends. I am currently studying A-levels in year 12.
 I would describe myself as outgoing and extroverted. I enjoy learning new things about
new people and asking questions.
 At school, my favourite subjects have always been maths, physics and computer science.
 I have a keen interest in business, sales and technology. I’m interested in being a part of the
future of these sectors.
 My aims include to one day be self-employed by starting my own business.
 What can I offer to the company?
 I am a hard-working person who is self-motivated. I enjoy working in a fast-paced
environment and I take initiative with my work.
 I am someone who strives for the ability to work well within a team or group
environment. I enjoy working cooperatively with people on projects.
 I also have a willingness to learn and gain first-hand experience in tech sales.
 I am very interested in tech sales, and the possibilities it can offer me in the future.
 I also have prior knowledge and understanding of IT.
 Why Autodata?
 I was searching for a company that is well-established in the tech industry. As
Autodata has been around for around 36 years (since 1986!), I thought it was the
perfect match for me.
 Autodata has a global reach, meaning they operate within numerous countries all
around the world, such as the United States, China, and the United Kingdom.
 I quite liked the fact that the headquarters of Autodata is based in London since it is
the heart of business and technology.
 The company works within cloud storage and other sectors of IT.
 Cloud storage (cloudlake)
 What is cloud storage? When a company stores data using cloud storage, they use services and softwares
such as cloudlake. This means the user’s data is stored on a server that is owned by Autodata. This means
Autodata is accountable for making sure the data is accessible to the person or company. Cloud storage has
to be suitable enough to allow people to access it from different areas across the world and at fast speeds.
This also means the person or company must have a suitable internet connection.
 Benefits: portable, also protects from natural disasters because all data will be on the cloud.
 Disadvantage: the person or company must maintain a constant internet connection.
 Prospects: The technology is constantly being developed. Complex storage tiers are no longer being used
by Cloudlake in order to achieve faster transfer speeds. It provides clients with a reliable and inexpensive
way of storing data.
