from the point of view of history and
philoshophy
SUMMARY
● One of the traditions of the spread of Islam
in the 15th century, and carried out during
Eid.
● Spread to Malaysia, Singapore, even Brunei.
● Ketupat symbolizes an Apology.
● Generally made using woven coconut
(young coconut leaves).
SUMMARY

Although Ketupat is known as a


tradition during the Muslim Idul Fitri
celebrations, but now Ketupat has
spread throughout Indonesia to
slightly uphold Indonesian culture
among traditional foods.
ANALYSIS ● STRENGHT

Understand about Indonesia culture, especially


food called ketupat starting from the philosophy
ainside to the prosess of making and cooking.

● WEAKNESS

The lack of an explanation of the main element of


rooting in the ketupat, is there (coconut / young
coconut leaves) there are substances that
endanger health. so that can be anticipated in the
production of ketupat
CONCLUSION

● This journal discusses about the culture of


ketupat from the point of view of history and
philosophy.
● The journal also discusses that the tradition of
eating ketupat is spread all over Indonesia.
● as a cultural expression that symbolizes
meaning or good message.
