Expository Method Teaching
A. Approach
- the proper mindset may be established by recalling past
experiences related to the present lesson. The points to be explained
must be placed before the class.
B. Presentation
- While explaining , it might be well for the teacher to make
use of the following principles:
1. Relate the new to the past experience.
2. Teacher and class should have the same view point regarding what is
to be explained.
3. Exposition means not only explaining but also interpreting.
C. Application
- this step will show whether the pupils/students understands
the explanation or not. It may be given in the form of a test,
creative work or another activity.
Advantage and Disadvantages of Expository Method Teaching
Advantage

accountable for listening and taking notes.
