What happened on 9/11?
On 9.11.2001 four planes were
hijacked. Three were aiming
for the twin towers and one for
Pentagon. Two of them hit the
twin towers and one went
down as the last one missed
the pentagon. The president at
that time was George Walker
Bush and due to the
circumstances, article 5 of
NATO was activated. For
those of you who don t know it
means war.
 The Operation Enduring
Freedom (Afghanistan war) lasted
for 20 years but American special
troops are still active in this day.
 The casualties were more than 3000
in that day:
-2977 Civils
-343 Firefighters
-71 Police Officers
-55 Pentagon Personel
Who’s Bin Laden and why did he ordered the attacks?

Qaeda leader. Before
the attacks he was one
of the most valuable
assets that the CIA had.
He did it to crash the
American currency and

What was the plan?
On the night of 1 May 2011 the UK SBS (Special
Boat Service) found him in a safe compound at
the border of Pakistan. The Intel officer of
DEVGRU received the location and called in the Red Squadron
Red Squadron Operators which was made of 14
people that planned Operation“Neptune Spear”.
The plan was simple, it was a night raid:
-Helicopter Infiltration
-Breaching in the compound
-Capture or kill Osama Bin Laden
-Helicopter Exfiltration
How did the operation go? Robert O’Neil

• Things went wrong from the start, as one of

the helicopters crashed into Osama Bin
Laden’s yard. Fortunately, none of the
operators were harmed. The Red Squadron
Team breached the compound and started to
clear the safehouse. They found his 2 wives
and 4 children and started to search for him.
On the third floor found and shot him on
sight. Robert O’Neil took the shot that killed
Osama Bin Laden and he is now considered a
hero, a hero that put end to the tragedy of
9/11.
