Position: Senior Commissioning Supervisor
Job Description
 Conducts weekly Operations meetings with the Commissioning team in order to monitor, review and analyze
testing requirements of ongoing projects to formulate action plans and coach subordinates on-the-job.
 Nurtures healthy business relationships with customers through regular visits and communication to ensure
customer satisfaction and retention.
 Reviews and endorses to Engineering Manager for approval all statement of expenses of Commissioning team
such as Purchased Requisition, overtime, liquidations, reimbursement, petty cash, payment vouchers, Gas
Allowances and Advance for Travel Expense (ATE) in order to ensure effective and on time execution of
daily Project Operations.
 Utilizes fully the Company’s operating systems such as Engine Project Management (EPM) System to ensure
on time completion of projects and provide manpower and resource requirement.
 Proposes new ideas and ways of adding value to the Engineering Group and Company.
 Coaches, evaluates and rewards his Subordinates' performance based on pre-agreed KPIs to ensure High
Performance, Engagement in the business, Contribution to the Company and Compliance with the
Company's Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Programs and Other Policies.
 Collaborates with EPG Engineering Manager in formulating and implementing his Engineering Group's Annual
Business Plan (ABP), strategies and Priority Action Plans to ensure achievement of its Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs) targets.
 Supervises Pre Storage activities in order to ensure that the unit is in good condition and with
complete attachment.
 Collaborates with Service Advisor on the timely performance of Pre Storage Inspection and Pre
Commissioning activities and/or repairs, if any in order to ensure proper commissioning and
customer satisfaction. Ensures on time submission & processing of required documents for PDI
repairs and warranty claims.
 Supports Project Operations team when providing EPG sales and support BUs with their urgent,
short term genset requirements by providing commissioning personnel in order to achieve customer
satisfaction.
 Supervises Commissioning Engineers and Technicians in planning, scheduling, implementing and
documenting testing and commissioning activities in order to ensure quality service, adherence to
CAT standards, on-time completion and profitability.
 Ensures proper maintenance and upkeep of assigned company assets such as Tools / Equipment,
Company vehicles, Laptops, Mobile Phones, etc.
 Ensures that the Commissioning Group maintains and updates a physical and electronic database of
its Core Business Processes (Standard Operating Manual), Major Transactions, Installation
agreements with customers and suppliers and Correspondences.
