So many people walk this earth, I'm all too scared that one day soon,
With purpose in their eyes, I'll become just like the rest,
But in their heart of hearts they know, Only walking with the crowd,
What they're living is a lie, Because my dreams have been oppressed,
The alarm goes off at 6 am, That one day I'll look back on life,
Like every other day, At the opportunities that I missed,
So they can walk into a job they hate, And realize I never truly lived,
Because they need the pay, All I did was just exist.
All time does is take from them,
But it never seems to give, ~e.h
Always waiting for the day to come,
When they finally start to live.
