AUTOMATIC BRAKING SYSTEM

IN E-BIKES

DESCRIPTION OF OUR IDEA

In this topology, We have an ARDUINO microcontroller which is powered by the E-Bike’s battery. We are using a
Buck converter to step down the voltage from the battery and giving it to the Arduino module operating at 12V.
We are going to insert an FDISD-3 Laser sensors in front of the vehicles whenever any obstacles are detected it
sends a signal to the receiver and then the received signal is given to the microcontroller (ARDUINO). There is
also a rear camera behind the vehicle to see what is coming up behind us. The information from the Rear
camera is also fed into the microcontroller. Then the Arduino sends the command to the Wheel speed sensor
which control the ABS braking system to stop the vehicle. Also it sends the command to the LCD & Speaker in
which we can get the alert message in the LCD and voice alert from the Speaker.
Problem statement

 In recent days, there is a tremendous increase in death rate because of the road
accidents.
 Though there is an increase in technology, most of the accidents occurs due to the
carelessness of the driver.
 There is no camera features in reverse mode for E-bikes
 For this problem, we have a solution that is Automation
in braking system.
 Reduce the speed of the vehicle if any obstacles are
spotted.
 It varies based on the distance of the opposite vehicle
from our vehicle.

Solution
 We can use the rear camera to see the vehicle coming
from behind.
Innovation
(Unique Value Proposition)
Automatic braking is a safety technology that automatically activates
the vehicle's brake system, to some degree, when necessary.

Alert message will be popup in LCD while any obstacles are detected.

 Installing rear camera with voice recognition system for alerting the
rider and to identify the sort of vehicle behind us.

Systems vary from regenerative braking, to slowing the vehicle to

lesser damage.

Consumer Segments

• Those who ride their vehicles too fast.

• By observing emergency vehicles on Display, you may clear a path for them.
• People who were terrified to ride a bike.
• Elder persons who needs safer ride.
• People who needs safer life back to home.
Channels/ Marketing strategies

• By conducting roadside camp about our e-bike’s specialities.

• By having a direct contact with the customer from the
manufacturing unit.
• Creating awareness about the safety among the people.
Revenue Stream

• As we are installing some new features in e-bikes, we can earn

more profits from this project.
• By opening new branches, we can sell more bikes even in rural
areas.
