 Introduction
The word “Entrepreneur” is derived from the French word
“Entreprendre” which means “To Undertake”.
In business context it means
to start a business or convert
ideas into reality.
What is Entrepreneur?
 According to American Heritage Dictionary:

“A person who organizes, operates and assumes

the risks of a business with considerable initiative.”

 In simple words:

A visionary and passionate person who converts new ideas

into reality by:
 taking initiative
 organizing
 managing
 making timely decisions and
 taking risks.
 Defi ne Entrepreneurship:
“Entrepreneurship is the capacity and willingness to
develop
a business from the ground up to coming up with an
idea and turning into a profitable business.”

Agha waqar who started from zero in now touching the sky and
the great Agha Waqar who is just 32 years old from Faisalabad and in the
time span of two years he has managed to build a business empire Of
almost 90 crores.
Being a doctor by education the young entrepreneur was never
afraid of trying new ideas and started business as a small time
petrol dealer in Quetta .
He started the business when he was not having the enough
money to make his own office which forced him to create the
office at the home of his father. Using his God given talent and
following the advice of his father he was able to quickly secure
contracts from major Real Estate and Telecom and has almost
400 people working under him and he is spending a luxurious
life.

Mark was dropped out from Harvard
University then he took initiative and by using his
Software developing skills he launched facebook.
Now his personal wealth, as of October 2015, is estimated to be $44.6 
billion. Zuckerberg receives one-dollar salary as CEO of
Facebook

 Career and success:
Jahangir Siddqui was
Pakistani Rags to Riches business tycoon who
founded JS Group about 4 decades ago.
He was not born with the silver spoon in his
mouth, his father was a government servant .
Showing initiative, he started his career as local
distributor of Coca-Cola at the age of 14.
Today JS Group is one of the biggest financial service provider of Pakistan.
It includes business of JS Financials, JS industries, EFU Life Insurance Group,
JS Transportation, JS Property, JS Bank Limited and Bank Islami.
Siddiqui has been quoted as saying:

 Career and Success:
Haji Muhammad Ali is the best
example of Pakistani Entrepreneur who
started from zero and now touching the sky.
He was very poor and has no resources to
start his own business.
In 1969 he set up the business at
Sadar market Area Karachi, surrounded by a
number of educational institutions and government schools.
Biryani was popular dish for the messes as the area was
deprived of a proper food supplier, it was an ideal time and place
to start selling this popular dish. This prompted Mr.Muhammad Ali
to test the market by selling biryani.
 The biryani was prepared by Muhammad Ali and his family members at
home from home made spices and recipe . It was small dhaaba with a
bamboo roof supported by wooden pillars with waiting staff comprised
of two elder sons serving with limited sitting capacity started with one
tumbler (deg) of biryani serving about 40 people per day.
The Business was named as Café Students . The taste of the biryani
was unique and it became the root cause of his fame and success. Now
it has become an international brand having branches in all major
cities of Pakitan and also in Australia, Oman, Saudi Arabia and in gulf
countries.

He started from ground and now he is at 12th richest man in Pakistan.
Bahria Town has become the biggest private real estate developer
