INDIVIDUAL ARGUMENTATION

Semester 1 (2022-2023)

Deadline: Week 14 (December 13)


Instructions

Each student is required to choose a topic and make A VIDEO PRESENTATION to support and oppose that topic.

Your presentation will include the following sections:

1. Introduction:

 - Lead-in: Define the concept or describe a common setting/hypothetical example related to the topic.

- Resolution: Cite the given resolution accurately.

- Your proposition/perspective: State if you are FOR or AGAINST the given resolution.

2. Body: 

- Two arguments using the PEEL technique  

3. Conclusion:

Transition + your position

PROJECT TOPICS

1. “Evidence of A2 English level (IELTS 3.5, Aptis Gen, KET for basic users) or B2 (IELTS 5.5-6.5,
Aptis Gen, FCE for independent users) must be a requirement for any non-English major
