 The purpose of industrial training is to
expose students to real working environment.
for my objective for having industrial training
is to :
• Expose to the new working environment
• To gain knowledge and equipments exposure
on the site project
 To improve my soft skills

 Learning the basic handling some of the machine equipment

( hydraulic Swing Beam Shear) , ( Automatic Gas cutter) and get used to
the industrial job .
 Read and analyse the drawing and making a inspection on production
process.
 Monitor operations to make sure that they meet production standards
 Recommend adjustment if got any problem.
 Discuss inspection result with the responsible person.
 Accept or reject the product if not following the drawing
specifications.
 Measure products using an appropiate tools. (measuring tape, vernier
caliper, etc)
 Write and document a report for the inspection result to be check by
manager and client.
What did I learn ?
Semi –Automatic Gas Cutter

This machine can cut steel plate with

the thickness over 8mm with
medium-pressure acetylene and high
pressure oxygen

Procedure:
1:Open the acetylene blowpipe valve
slightly and light the blowpipe with a flint
lighter.
2 :Continue to slowly open the acetylene
valve until the flame no longer produces
soot.
3 :Slowly open the oxygen blowpipe valve
until a neutral flame is produced.

knowing the type of welding , defect that
occur in welding when studying

in Industrial Enginnering subject.

 Hire a high skilled staff according to their field
