Surat

• Surat Smart City focuses on development of a

particular area that creates sustainable
economic development and high quality of life
by smart interventions. It is envisaged that the
area under consideration will transform into a
well-planned urban space with sustainable and
rationally incremental economic development
and activity.
Ahmedabad

• Ahmedabad was selected among the first 20 Smart

Cities in India under the Smart Cities Mission of the
Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Govt. of
India announced on 28-Jan-2016 that Ahmedabad
has scored 66.81 % for the Smart City Plan
submitted on 15th of Dec 2015. In spite of being the
2nd largest city on the list, Ahmedabad stands at 6th
in rank in the country for its Smart City Plan.
Rajkot

• Rajkot is the fourth-largest[5][6] city in the state of Gujarat,

India, after Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara and is in the centre
of the Saurashtra region of Gujarat. Rajkot is the 35th-largest
metropolitan area in India, with a population of more than 2
million as of 2021.[7] Rajkot is the second-cleanest[8][9] city
of India, and is the 7th fastest-growing city in the world as of
March 2021.[10] The city contains the administrative
headquarters of the Rajkot District, 245 km from the state
capital Gandhinagar, and is located on the banks of the Aji and
Nyari rivers. Rajkot was the capital of the Saurashtra State from
15 April 1948 to 31 October 1956, before its merger with
Bombay State on 1 November 1956. Rajkot was reincorporated
into Gujarat State on 1 May 1960.
Gandhinagar

• This capital city of Gujarat had the vision of

being an equitable urban centre that provides a
high quality of life to all its citizens.Towards
this vision, Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation
(GMC) endeavoured to create a worldclass ICT
infrastructure to cater to the growing population
as well as to empower the citizens to easily and
digitally access administrative services.

the master integrator to execute this prestigious
