“Factors that affect the solubility of a material”

Temperature

Usually, cold water will decrease the solubility of a material and

restrain it from full dissolving.

Ex: milo in cold water

Temperature

As for hot water, it will usually increase the solubility of a

material causing it to mix better than when the water is cold.

Ex: milo mixed in hot water

Stirring

As when you stir however, even if the water that is used is cold, it
will still mix together.
Stirring causes the solvent and solute to mix together better.

Ex: “Nestea” iced tea

Size of solid particles
If the size of a solute is big, then the solubility is low.
But if the size of the solute decreases, the solubility increases.
Viscosity

If a solvent is viscous, it will decrease the solubility, therefore if the solvent is less viscous,
it will have a higher rate of dissolving.
