INTRODUCTION
A visually impaired child or a person with visual
impairment is generally dependent on their auditory a n d
kinaesthetic senses.

Braille is a tactile writing system used by people who are

visually impaired, including people who are blind,
deafblind or who have low vision.

The lack of emotional support at diagnosis centers, the

limited accessibility to activities a n d information, the
societal stigma and the lack of unemployment, are all
factors frequently leading blind or low vision individuals
in isolation.

SUMMARY ON NGO VISIT

It was a great experience for all of us. We got to know how their life is
challenging but we salute them, they just were going with the flow. The
ladies there make handmade accessories like Rakhis , bags, garlands, etc.
The thought of having any physical challenge would scare us, making us
think about how life would become so difficult. But meeting them changed,
our perspectives that “even with a challenge , life is still the same if you keep
going on” like them.
