Jain Heritage School chemistry project submitted by Aarya Naik to Mrs. Shobha Thomas explores salt crystallization. The project involves saturating a cup of water with salt then hanging a thread in the solution to observe salt crystals forming over 1-2 days, allowing Aarya to experience feeling like a scientist. Aarya acknowledges the teacher and family for their support in completing the project.

AARYA NAIK MRS.SHOBHA THOMAS Acknowledgement I would like to express my special thanks of gratitude to my teacher Mrs. Shobha Thomas who gave me the golden opportunity to do this wonderful project on the topic called crystallization of salt, which helped me feel like a scientist for a moment. I am really thankful to her. I would like to thank almighty, my parents for their constant encouragement without which this assignment would not be possible. They helped me a lot in finishing this project within the limited time - Aarya Naik Index 1. Main body of the experiment 2. Bibliography Main body of the experiment • Aim: separation of salt from a mixture • Apparatus: salt, one cup of water, pencil and thread. • Procedure: 1. Pour salt on a cup of water until it becomes saturated solution 2. tie the thread to the pencil and hang it to the edges of the cup and let the thread be immersed into the water 3. Leave it for a day or two and hence u will get huge crystals of salt Bibliography None
