What is a presentation?

• “A structured ,prepared and speech –based


means of communicating information or ideas
to a group of interested people, in order to
inform or persuade them”.
• It is the process of presenting the content of a
topic to an audience consisting of one or more
persons.

all your communication skills on display, from
audience analysis and research to the design
of presenting materials to public speaking.

. The ways by which you can control your fear
are as follows:
. The first way to combat fear of presentation is
to start giving presentation in front of small
group of familiar audience or friends and then
move to larger audience.

gathered to hear you are your friends.
• The audience have assembled because they
have interest in the topic and not because of
any obligation or compulsion.
• They are keen to listen to your thoughts and
ideas.

immaculate and perfect.
• You should be open to mistakes and learn
from them. More important is how you cope
with the mistakes and try to overcome them
the next time you make a presentation.

• If you fail once, then practice and try again.
• People around you will be happy to see you
making successful presentations.
• Practice makes a man perfect.

you are with your material , the less panic you
will feel.
