Introduction
TanikCreations(TC) is a premier gift box retailer.
TC is concentrating on making gourmet gift boxes
out of a wide range of high-quality ingredients. In
addition to having several flagship boxes, TC will
also offer the option of a custom box allowing the
customer to choose the ingredients themselves.
TC will be selling to individuals as well as
corporations. Initially the bulk of TC’s business
will be generated by individuals from word-of-
mouth referrals, but as time passes, corporations
will become a growing percentage of sales.

Business Description
The TanikCreations will be a sole proprietorship, owned by
Tanisha Agrawal.
TC, soon to be located in Indore, or will offer a wide range of
gift boxes, production as well as custom units. TC will be hand
assembling the boxes out of premier materials, local when
possible. The business will be based out of Tanisha Agrawal’s
home. Although this will be a home-based business. If the
business goes per the forecasted plan, the business will
achieve profits by the end of year one.

factors, low overhead which allows reasonable prices.
TC’s overhead is particularly low because it is a home-
based business. Most of the competition is based in
retail shopping areas through strong commitment
and efficient strategic goals TC will be first choice of
customers.

TC only uses the finest quality materials and can


afford to because of her low overhead. Additionally, it
always follows the maxim that the customer must be
COMPETETIVE EDGE 100% satisfied. That means she is willing to lose
money in the short run if necessary to please a
customer, confident that in the long run that this is a
wise business decision.

Financial Plan
TanikCreations being a new business needs a high capital investment to recover its expenses like
advertisements, with the cost of productions but as our business will be home orientated we have a vast
benefit for the reduce in expenses related to location.

As there is only one owner the capital requirement burden can be reduced by the first sale of the
month. The capital requirement for the whole startup can be fixed for only one owner.
Every accessories or material can be purchased from local vendors on regular basis on bulk quantity so
that cost minimization can be done.
