Literary Adaptation
It is not unusual to find that your
favorite movie or series was based on a
book or a novel, a short story, a folktale, a
play or even a poem. The popularity of
these adapted forms has been increasing
in the recent years. Apart from novels,
new literary forms have also been popular

can also be a broadcast in audio form
which can be accessible to its listeners.
Graphic Novels
These are like that of the comics as it uses
art or illustrations to tell a story. However,
graphic novels have a more complex plots,
and unlike comic books that is usually
published in series, it is usually published
as one story.
Short Film
This type of film is simpler and shorter
than a usual duration of a film. It can be as
short ad 5 to 20 minutes. Film about 2
minutes in length are called micro-shorts
(www.nfi.edu).
SCREENPLAY

Christmas season is coming and the MTRCB is now accepting movie entries for the
annual Christmas Film Festivals. You and your team decided to create an adaptation of the
famous literary movies below which will be your entry for this year. To catch the attention
of the viewers, your team will launch a 3 minute-movie trailer of your upcoming entry.
This will be posted on different Social media flat forms and Televisions. For the entry to be
accepted by the said group, your trailer will be evaluated based on the following criteria: (to
