Adjectives: Adjectives describe nouns

Unlike a noun, an adjective has NO plural form.

Eg: There were three black dogs. Eg: There were three blacks dogs.

We put most adjectives before a noun Or after some verbs like: be, seem,look and feel.

Eg: We´ve got a new teacher. Eg: His sweater looked new.

We use past participle to describe We use the present participle to describe the

Eg: Eg:
You must be tired after the journey. It must have been a very tiring journey.
The match was very bad and I was bored. It was a boring match and I fell asleep.
We were amused by Leonor´s jokes. We found Leonor´s jokes amusing.

Order of Adjectives
Sometimes we want to use two or more adjectives before a noun.

Eg: HOUSE------BEAUTIFUL------OLD.
(NOUN) (ADJECTIVE) (ADJECTIVE)

In those cases just remeber: Opinions always go first:

a BEAUTIFUL old house.


If you have more than 1 adjective follow the next order:

Opinion Size Shape Age Color Origen Material Purpose Noun


Eg:
A/ lovely old English sheep dog
An/ attractive large round wooden table
An/ interesting scientific experiment
A/ beautiful tall American basketball player
