es:
Discuss how numeracy assessment results
are interpreted and disseminated.

Interpret ALNAT results using the electronic

Numeracy Assessment Tools (e-NAT).
PRELIMINARY ACTIVITY

Give a word or words connected to learning that is/are

being referred to by the pictures and clues presented.
Numer
acy
Numeracy is “the ability to understand
and apply mathematical concepts,
processes, and skills to solve problems
and make decisions in a variety of
situations, including real-life scenarios.”
(surreylearningbydesign.ca.,n.d.).
Test DATA PROCESSING AND
INTERPRETATION USING THE
e-NAT
DataCollect
•ion
Online -responses are generated via DepEd
LMS (Spreadsheet) after the learners took
the online exam
• Pen & Paper–responses are recorded in the
Responses sheet of the e-NAT
STEPS in Data Collection
(Online)
1. Examinees take the online assessment.
2.Recording of the test responses in the
spreadsheet will do auto checking and will
generate auto scoring.
3.Test administrator generates the automated
test results and e-Numeracy card.
STEPS in Data Collection (Pen &
1.Paper)
Examinees take the numeracy assessment.
2. School testing team records test responses
and generate e-Numeracy card using the e-
NAT.
3. School testing team keeps assessment
records and testing materials.

Anchoring (A) 75% - 79%
Emerging (E) 80% - 84%
Developing (D) 85% - 89%
Transforming (T) 90% and above
INTERPRETATION OF
TEST DATA

NMS – Needs Major Support

- A learner got an average rating

of 74% and below, so he/she did
not achieve the passing rate of
75% per DepEd Order #8 s. 2015
and majority of the skills and
processes are under needs major
support.
INTERPRETATION OF
TEST DATA
A – Anchoring
- A learner got an average
rating of 75% to 79%.

- The learner has achieved the

passing rate, however there
are still skills and processes
that are under needs major
support.
INTERPRETATION OF
TEST DATA

E – Emerging
- A learner got an average rating
of 80% to 84%.

There are skills and processes

which are under anchoring, and/or
developing, however, there are also
skills that are under needs major
support.
INTERPRETATION OF
TEST DATA

D – Developing
- - A learner got an average rating of
85% to 89%.

- There are skills and processes that

are under anchoring, developing,
and/or transforming however, there
are few skills that are under needs
major support.
INTERPRETATION OF
TEST DATA

T – Transforming
- A learner got anaverage
rating of 90% and above.
Majority of the skills and processes
are under transforming. However,
few skills and processes are under
