An Overview…

About KJIDF

Karjat Jamkhed Integrated Development Foundation has been established for the
sustainable development of Karjat and Jamkhed area with the support of the
community, individuals, organisations, and government institutions. This revolutionary
idea came from the visionary young leader of Maharashtra, Mr Rohit Sunanda Rajendra
Pawar, who is currently a Member of Legislative Assembly for Karjat-Jamkhed
Constituency.
This is the only organisation in India which has been established by an MLA with the
purpose of developmental works in the constituency. KJIDF is aiming towards making a
positive difference in the community. It is mainly working in the Karjat and Jamkhed
tehsils of Ahmednagar district. KJIDF is devoted for working in various sectors such as
Agriculture, Water Conservation, Environment, Tourism, Livelihood, Skill Development,
Women Empowerment, Health, Nutrition, Education, Digital Transformation, Arts and
Culture, Youth Development, Sports, Disaster Relief and Social Awakening.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

KJIDF intends an integrated transformation in every village of Karjat and Jamkhed that
will accomplish multiple developmental goals — which Agriculture, Water Conservation,
WASH, biodiversity, environment protection, and improved livelihood, outstanding
education and learning outcomes.
The comprehensive objective of the KJIDF is to establish that communities are
empowered, and change is self-initiated and sustainable. The mechanism thus
generated will become a constant and synergetic vehicle for socio-economic
transformation of Karjat and Jamkhed as well as a unique solution with significant
potential for replication in the future.
