Baron Munchausen.
OVERVIEW • It is a psychological condition where
they pretend to be ill.
• Main intention is to assume sick
role.
• Seek intense care by people.
• It is also known as Factitious
Disorder Imposed on Self (FDIS).

CAUSES
1.CHILDHOOD TRAUMA

DIAGNOSIS
• Checking for
inconsistencies between
claims and actual medical
history.
• Running tests to check for
evidence of self - inflicted
wounds.
• Rule out
other possible motivation
for their behaviour. 
TREATMENT MEDICATION
