GREEN WATER MANAGEMENT
CAMPUS

This year the students made green corners in JPIC team conducted a Nukkad Natak on
each class, eco bricks and a talk on SAVE water management . Assemblies and
SOIL was conducted with a member of ISHA talks were conducted throughout the
foundation within the school premises. year to bring awareness on this issue.

Our school has promoted gender

.This year students of 9th and
10th participated in an online
campaign to spread their views
on this topic. International
Women''s Day was also
celebrated to commemorate the
social, economic and political
achievements of women.
OTHER
ACTIVITIES

A BUSINESS FEST was conducted in the school to enhance the students

entrepreneurship skills and to give a boost to their innovative ideas.
Different schools were invited and many parents also attended this fest.
Loreto has also amalgamated with the cancer hospital in Shimla and
provides them with chapatis for patients twice a week. Our campus is the
first in Shimla to go completely free of plastic. The JPIC team has been
putting up many articles and paintings on the notice board to bring about
awareness. .The JPIC team has also successfully conducted a BLOOD
DONATION CAMP within the school premises. The school participated in a
NUKKAD NATAK COMPETITION and stood first. Special assemblies and
skit competitions were conducted throughout the year on various subjects.
Loreto's goal of spreading the joy and working for others was successfully
consummated by proper coordination and integration.
OUR FUTURE GOALS
1.Protecting biodiversity by planting saplings,
planting native gardens, removing invasive
species, practicing regenerative agriculture and
protecting pollinators.

2.Engaging the students by organising

social/ecological events and regularly exploring
the local ecosystem as a group.

3.Avoiding the installation of impermeable

surfaces around buildings to prevent water
logging.

4. Installing low-flow taps.

5.Help LGBTQ+ students feel safe and welcomed

in school.

6. Celebrating the PRIDE MONTH to support the

LGBTQ+ community.

8.Improving sustainability by eliminating the

use of disposable plastic and styrofoam.
