Eco 2Schools

Maistruc Vladimir
What is Eco-Schools?
Eco-Schools is the largest global sustainable
schools programme – it starts in the classroom
and expands to the community by engaging the
next generation in action-based learning.
The programme’s greatest achievement is the
fact that it produces generation after generation
of sustainably minded, environmentally
conscious people. These individuals will carry the
behavioural patterns they uptake of Eco-Schools
with them through life, in turn teaching the next
generation the habits to make world better
SEVEN STEPS TOWARDS AN ECO-SCHOOL

measures  to help schools maximise the success of their Eco-School
ambitions.

Step 1: Form an Eco Committee

4: Monitor and Evaluate
5: Curriculum Work
6: Inform and Involve
7: Produce an Eco Code
