Factors that cause the extinction of animals
and plants :
• Destruction of wild habitats - also
known as habitat loss is the process
when a natural habitat becomes
incapable of supporting its native
species. When the habitat is destroyed,
the organisms that reside there,
including animals and plants, are left to
survive without any means of safety.
• Hunting and illegal trafficking -
are illegal acts that are against
the law and also one of the main
reasons why our flora and fauna
is on the brink of extinction.
