travels.
Week 1
CONTENTS Past Simple
02 How do we speak about
experiences?

Voicing
04 Let’s check some –ed endings.
What is a journey and what types of
journeys can you think of?

Do you enjoy traveling?

Where did you go on your last trip?

What did you do?

Do you always have to move

physically to travel?
Where did you go on
your last trip?

On 2007, I traveled to Sri Lanka with my friends. We flew for 14

hours and it was exhausting. When we arrived, our hotel
didn't have hot water.

We took quick showers for three days in a row. We used to go out

every morning at 8 o'clock to see the city. We were very tired
for the first three days of the trip until they fixed the hot
water. Then, our trip became infinitely more bearable.

We didn't use to have a lot of comfort, but we spent the rest of our
time around the country for two more months. It was one of
the best experiences of our lives.
