OTHER GUIDELINES

WAITING PERIOD
The period of fourteen (14) days after the Coverage Start Date which must pass before Dengue, Typhoid, Measles, or Malaria
become covered under the Policy. During the Waiting Period, the Life Assured must not have had signs and symptoms of,
been diagnosed with or had his/her first consultation with a Physician in relation to Dengue, Typhoid, Measles, or Malaria.

FREE LOOK PERIOD


Fifteen (15) days from your Policy Receipt Date to review the Policy

 If Life Assured decides that the Policy is not suitable to her needs and wishes to cancel
it, she must immediately notify through My Policies within the Free Look Period
 Cancel button will be disabled after Free Look Period
 Cancellation after the Free Look Period must be done manually by sending a cancellation
notice via email to contact.us@prulifeuk.com.ph.

PRODUCT GUIDELINES

 If the Life Assured happens to be covered under multiple policies with any
Covered Infectious Disease coverage, we shall only pay the highest benefit
amount among the purchased policies In case multiple policies with the same
benefit were purchased, only the first policy purchased will be payable. We
shall refund the portion of the premiums corresponding to the excess Benefit

 The products are renewable if there is no claim made in the previous year Pulse
app will send a nudge to policyowner to renew their coverage fifteen 15 days before
the policy termination Policyowners who will avail of this renewal with no time gap
and has no Dengue, Typhoid, Measles, or Malaria claim from previous coverage
period will not be subjected to a new 14 days waiting period

 Any Life Assured who has an existing in-force PRUDengue Medcare or PRUDengue
Medcare Pro are not allowed to purchase PRUMedCare – Select Infectious Disease.

• Once the existing in-force PRUDengue Medcare or PRUDengue Medcare Pro


expires, purchase of PRUMedCare – Select Infectious Disease will now be allowed

EXCLUSIONS

Diagnosis Benefit
The lump sum benefit will not be paid if the Life Assured is diagnosed with any of the Covered Infectious
Disease (Dengue, Typhoid, Measles, or Malaria), or if the signs and symptoms or first consultation with a
Physician related to Dengue, Typhoid, Measles, or Malaria occurred prior to the Coverage Start Date or
within the Waiting Period.

Death Benefit
The lump sum benefit will not be paid to the beneficiary/ies of the Life Assured if:
 
The cause of death of the Life Assured was Dengue, Typhoid, Measles, or Malaria, but the signs and
symptoms, diagnosis, or first consultation with a Physician related to Dengue, Typhoid, Measles, or
Malaria occurred prior to the Coverage Start Date or within the Waiting Period; or

If the Life Assured dies beyond fourteen (14) days from the date of diagnosis of Dengue, Typhoid,
Measles or Malaria.

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES

RECISSION AND REFUND

We will rescind the Policy if we discover that:

1. The Policyowner or the Life Assured does not meet any of the eligibility conditions;

2. If the Life Assured is already insured with an existing coverage for any Covered
Infectious Disease, as shown in the Policy Benefits Page, offered by Pru Life UK; or

3. Subject to the incontestability clause in the policy contract, the Policyowner/Life


Assured committed fraud, concealment, or material misrepresentation in relation to the
Policy.

In the event of rescission, we shall refund the premiums paid in full.

 Microinsurance training completion in PRUExpert LMS will be required


prior to granting production and performance credits
 Microinsurance (Infectious Diseases) sales made prior to the completion of
the microinsurance training program will be given production and
performance credits effective on the date of such training completion and
will be registered as production issued on such date of training
completion.

 No persistency/contest credits and QPB

 A valid and active Traditional License is required to grant the production


and performance credits
