FACTS
DEFINE A FACT?
• A fact is a datum about one or more aspects of a circumstance , which, if
accepted as true and proven true, allows a logical conclusion to be reached on a
true-false evaluation. Standard reference works are often used to check facts.

• Something that actually exists; reality; truth.

• A fact is a statement that can be verified by evidence or tested by


experimentation.

DEFINE AN OPINION
• An opinion is based on a person’s belief, feeling, or viewpoint about something.

• Opinions are often based on personal interpretation and cannot be proven by


evidence.

• An opinion is a statement that shows what a person thinks, feels, or believes.
