Abstract:
Models were developed from LTE channel models. Indoor, indoor-to-outdoor, outdoor-to-
indoor, and rural networks are the propagation scenarios discussed. A conformation-based random
channel modelling methodology is used in the proposed channel model, allowing for the developing
of random double directional radio channel models. The Statistical distributions extrapolated from
channel measurement are used to create a stochastic model for channel parameters. By employing
the same methodology but varying the parameters, many scenarios are modelled. This deliverable
contains the parameter tables for each scenario for both line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight
(NLOS) situations. The parameterization, use of the regular forming resemblance for both indoor
and outdoor conditions, new structures like indoor-to-outdoor and outdoor-to-indoor, elevation in
indoor scenarios, smooth time and space evolution of large-scale and small-scale channel
parameters, and scenario-dependent polarisation modelling are the novel features of the proposed
models. The models can be scaled from a single-input-single-output (SISO) or multiple-input-
multiple-output (MIMO) link to a multi-link MIMO scenario that takes into account polarisation
among other radio channel parameters. The suggested models can be used to any wireless system,
not just LTE systems. The models support numerous antenna technologies, many users, multiple
cells, multiple hops, and polarisation.
Literature Survey:
• The existing UMTS mobile communication network has evolved into the Long-
Term Evolution (LTE) network.
• Femto cells are low-power base stations that leverage cellular technology to
provide capacity and coverage indoors using an internet-grade backhaul and
operator control.
• They operate in regulated frequency bands.
• The performance of a femto cell network is assessed in using a tool for generic
radio access technology simulation under the same simulated parameters.
Introduction:
• One of the important technologies that will improve the performance
of LTE networks is full dimension MIMO (FD-MIMO).
• Due to the enormous number of antenna elements, high-order
multiuser MIMO (MU-MIMO) transmission and reception is
challenging without making the design and implementation of the
devices on both the base station and user (UE) sides unduly
challenging.
MIMO:
• MIMO is a wireless communication technology that has been around
since the 1990s, but it has only recently been used in the consumer
market.
• MIMO works by using multiple antennas and signal processing
techniques to improve data rates and range.
• It's also important to understand that MIMO uses a natural radio wave
known as multipath. That's why it can easily surpass obstacles like
walls, ceilings, or other hindrances and reach the signals' end point.
Working of MIMO:

• MIMO's implementation requires that the mobile device features a key access
point (AP), which also supports MIMO.
• In order for a smooth back-and-forth connection, both ends must support MIMO,
i.e., the sender and the receiver.
• Multipath allows MIMO technology to send signals through obstacles, as the
transmitted information simply tees off on walls, ceilings, or other obstacles on
the way to the other endpoint.
• Smart transmitters are added to MIMO tech to ensure spatial dimension support
and enhanced coverage in congested or closed areas.
MIMO Channel:
LOS(Line of sight):
• Line of sight (LOS) is the imaginary line between an observer and the target.
• In communication, line of sight is the direct path from a transmitter to the receiver and the
obstructions that may fall in that path.
• In Other forms, transmission can penetrate less dense objects, like walls and building, but are
blocked by large objects, like mountains.

Conclusion:
• The proposed model aims to address a broad range of scenarios with
various combinations of large-scale and small-scale properties and is
helpful for many simulations.
• By adjusting the delays while maintaining random angles, the model
can be reduced.
• Clustered Delay Line (CDL) model can be obtained by freezing all
propagation parameters.
