What is a verb?
A verb is a word that
expresses an action or state
of a being.
Examples:
Julie talks very fast.
She plays basketball.
The train leaves in ten
minutes.

PRESENT
TENSE
The simple present tense of verbs is
formed in different ways. It indicates
present condition, habitual action or
general truth. Singular subjects
(nouns and pronouns like he, she, it)
requires –s form of verbs.
