History of Dodgeball
 Dodgeball is an ancient game
 A caveman dodge a rock thrown to
him by other caveman, and the one
who dodge it threw it back.
 Throwing and Dodging are the basic
skills in playing dodgeball
Rules of the Game

 6 to 8 players per team


 Substitution is only during
time out or event of injury
 Objective of the game is to eliminate all
opponent’s player by hitting them with
the dodgeball
Beginning of the Game
8 dodgeballs are required to be used
Scoring
 “best of three” (10 min. games)

Declaring a Winner
 First team to legally eliminate all
opposing players

What is Community Fitness?

 The state of good health of the


entire community usually attained
through nutrition, physical
activities, and exercise.
 People do physical activities as
groups.

 But fitness is not achieved by physical


activities alone.
Role of Nutrition to Community Fitness

 You need to have good nutrition to be


physically fit.
 You must know what to eat from the
Nutritional Guide Pyramid (NGP)
 You must consider eating in
moderation which means eating
healthy foods in the right amount.
