and inversely as the width and the cube of the depth. If a loaded beam

8. The electrical resistance of a wire made of a certain material varies
as its length and inversely as the square of the diameter. If a wire 30
meters long and 0.75mm diameter has a resistance of 25 ohms, find

diameter are 30 ohms and 1.25mm respectively.
