• The word revelation comes from the Latin
word, “revelare” which means to
“uncover” or “to remove the veil”.

communication to us of who He is
and His plan to save us all in His

AND SUFFERING, TEMPTATION, AND EVIL AS WELL (CFC 67).
6. SUPER NATURAL REVELATION
-GOD ENTERED A RELATIONSHIP WITH HUMANITY FIRST WITH
ISRAEL AND WITH ALL THE PEOPLE THROUGH THE PERSON OF
JESUS.
-THIS IS WHAT WE CALL SALVATION HISTORY AND THIS IS
SPECIAL REVELATION.
GOD’S SELF-REVELATION IN THE PERSON OF JESUS

• GOD REVEALED HIMSELF FULLY BY SENDING HIS OWN SON, JESUS CHRIST
IN WHOM HE HAS ESTABLISHED HIS COVENANT FOREVER.
• HE (JESUS) NOT ONLY REVEALS THE FATHER TO HUMANS, BUT INVITES
HUMANS TO ENTER INTO THE VERY LIFE OF THE TRINITY WHICH IS AN
ETERNAL COMMUNION OF GOD.
